Radiant Soul Yoga Retreat with Rachel Sundström

Extend your summer on the magical Island of Ibiza. Join Rachel on a journey that will set your soul free and connect to your inner radiance. This retreat will include a daily integrated yoga practice, free time to relax or explore and afternoons that focus on different creative aspects and practices. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy yoga on the beach, meditation walks and a special closing circle overlooking the magical Es Vedra at sunset.
We look forward to welcoming you to The Chettinad Retreat, a 400-year-old finca nestled on 25.000 square meters of private land. The finca is a peaceful haven in the hills overlooking the rural Sant Agusti valley and located on the south west of the island. The pure, clean air and the view of distant peaks piercing through the morning mist is a perfect way to start off the day.
The geodesic yoga dome is a luminous and tranquil interior with views of the beautiful countryside to enhance a sense of well-being during our yoga and meditation practice. It is fully equipped with yoga mats and props so no need to bring anything.
The hillside retreat features a traditional farmhouse, one adobe cottage and two detached stone dwellings. When guests are in need of finding their own private space there are six outdoor terraces and patios to choose from. Natural rock landscaping with beds of fresh herbs, trees bearing almonds, figs, pomegranates and oranges, and hammocks dotted around the property give guests many options to choose from when in search of a chill zone or a secluded place to reconnect with nature or one’s self.
This yoga retreat is suitable for all levels, beginners are welcome. All classes will be taught in English.
Daily Schedule (subject to change):
- 08:00 to 09:00: morning rituals - kriyas / meditation / pranayama
- 09:00 to 09:30: silent bliss - tea and fruit break
- 09:30 to 11:00: Dynamic Yoga Flow
- 11:00 to 12:00: delicious plant based brunch
- 12:00 to 17:00: free time - pool / beach / explore the island / holistic therapies
- 17:00 to 17:30 light snack, fruit, tea
- 17:30 to 19:00: varied schedule will include sessions on holistic health / creative mala design / sunset meditation walk / plant based cooking workshop / trip to the famous Hippy Market and more ...
- 19:30: delicious plant based dinner
Included in the Retreat:
- 6 nights, all inclusive accommodation
- locally sourced, healthy, nutritious plant based brunch and dinner
- tea, water, fruit and light snacks
- daily meditation, pranayama and yoga practice of 2 to 3 hours
- sunset meditation walk overlooking Es Vedra
- yoga at the beach weather permitting
- WiFi
- bath towels (please bring your own towel for the pool and beach)
Not included in the Retreat:
- flights, airport transfers
- car hire (not essential but a great way to explore the island)

Exceptions to the schedule:
- Wednesday, 22nd September, weather permitting, we will take our morning yoga practice to the beach. No afternoon activity/practice so feel free to spend the day at the beach or explore
- Thursday, 23rd September we celebrate our last evening together with an earlier dinner and enjoy a spectacular sunset over Es Vedra
- No yoga on arrival and departure days

Bookings:
To secure your booking a non-refundable deposit of € 500.- is required unless you opt to pay in full.
The balance is payable by the 30th June 2021.
COVID-19:
A full refund will be issued for any retreat payments if the retreat is cancelled due to COVID-19 officially mandated travel restrictions.
Please ensure that you have adequate health and travel insurance.

ZEN SUITE
The largest room and undisputed favourite at The Chettinad Retreat. Luminous, with beautiful volume and noble Sabina beams. Private terrace with hot outdoor shower, direct access to swimming pool, separate access to small inner courtyard, dressing room, and additional wardrobe area. Stairs leading to the yoga dome can be accessed directly from the private terrace. Situated in the main house.
Zen: €3,450 for double occupancy, twin or queen bed with ensuite bathroom
NEST + PERCH
A beautiful duplex quadruple room with very special architectural features. The duplex accommodates four guests, includes a private rooftop terrace and en suite bathroom. Situated in the main house. Perfect for a group of friends or friends to be.
PLEASE NOTE:
Nest and Perch are open to each other, they share the same room entrance, ensuite bath and rooftop terrace. A mezzanine wall and wood lattice panels surround the upper floor for added privacy. To access the ensuite bathroom, guests in Perch must pass through Nest. To access the private rooftop terrace, guests in Nest must pass through Perch. This room is suitable for a group of four same-sex guests or for those who don't mind mixed accommodations. It has more privacy than a classic quad as the two sleeping areas do not share the same floor. This room is generally not suitable for couples.

This generous room of lovely proportions is a quintessential light-filled cube, hallmark of the traditional finca room, with deep set window and the hush of meter-thick stone walls. The room has a second door for direct access to the garden and steps leading to the yoga dome. Situated in the main house.

Haven
This cosy room has a restful atmosphere and feels bright and open due to the high ceiling and light streaming in through the window and garden door. The pathway leading up to the yoga dome is directly accessible from the room. Situated in the main house.

YIN + YANG
Yang
The twin flame micro-suites YIN and YANG are a pair of detached stone dwellings representing the twin flames of yoga theory that all you have is all you need. These havens are a delight for those who are comforted by cozy spaces. Intimate in scale, but long on charm, these rooms are physical reminders that we have everything we need to lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives without frills or fuss. The micro-suites YIN and YANG share a bathhouse nestled between the two suites. Shared private patio with Yin.
